Tabakscheune Lorsch
The last functioning tobacco barn from the 1930s has been redesigned as a listed barn in the Lorsch Monastery World Heritage Site. Information on topics such as sowing, soil cultivation, rearing, harvesting and drying through to packaging is displayed on backlit panels in the form of photos and short films on various work processes.
“In sixteen exhibition units, visitors can now find out about tobacco cultivation from sowing to fermentation, presented in a modern and varied way.”
