Bark – a multipurpose material

Charlett Wenig from the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam is currently researching this. We supported the young designer in debarking several oaks, lime trees, pines, a larch and a spruce. The pieces of bark are now being treated with various methods to stabilize them and then processed further as part of the research project.
